What Is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is the ancient natural healing science and medicine of India and brings a complete knowledge of how to live in tune with nature for better health. Ayurvedic wisdom teaches the main cause of poor health and disease is due to toxins (ama). Toxins are caused by improper digestion of food which accumulates in the the bodily tissues and channels. These toxins can be greatly reduced by eating foods suitable for your body type and by applying the principals of Ayurvedic nutrition to balance your digestion. In addition, toxins are caused by mental stress which also affects digestion, so health is restored when you attend to both mind and body.

Everything I create honours the ancient Indian tradition of mantra, yoga and Ayurveda. As a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner, yogi and sacred music artist, I am deeply inspired by this path because it has healed me of chronic fatigue, chronic pain, anxiety and depression. My devotion brings a richness and spiritual energy to my music, teaching, cooking and Ayurvedic therapies to help you nurture your divine beautiful self.
As food nourishes your body, sacred sound feeds your soul. For thousands of years the sages of ancient India have known of the spiritual science of sound, mantra, yoga and Ayurveda for healing the mind and body and have passed on this wisdom to us in an unbroken lineage of the Vedic tradition.
The repetition of Sanskrit mantras and simple, yet inspired melodies invoke powerful healing vibrations that restore peace, harmony and vitality to our inner being and outer worlds, awakening us to the great spirit of love that is our true nature.

Award Winning Singer Songwriter, Professional Musician, Teacher, Ayurvedic Practitioner.
I'm an award winning songwriter, professional musician, teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner.
I've been singing all my life, but my true musical heart was untouched until I went to India. I fell in love with the healing sounds, exotic instruments and classical ragas that touched my heart and inspired me to record a range of albums for yoga and meditation.
While in India, I also discovered the healing science of Ayurveda and later studied with Dr. S. Ajit, AIAS. This set me on the path to healing myself of chronic fatigue, chronic pain, anxiety and depression.
I've recorded ten albums under my brand Cafe Mantra, authored my first Ayurvedic cookbook and teach harmonium, chanting and Indian classical singing.
I travel Australia and abroad to yoga festivals, yoga retreats and conscious music events to share the sound of spirit and the sacred science of mantra and Ayurveda. When I'm not travelling, I teach and consult at my home in West Haven, Mid North Coast NSW.
